Harness the power of the written word with a 1 page essay that tells us your unique perspective. We’re not looking for an encyclopedia of your accomplishments; we want a snapshot of your vision, your hopes, and your plan to use your BSB degree to effect change. We’re seeking honesty, authenticity, and a clear understanding that business can indeed be a force for good.
Option 2: Your Path Through Film
If you’re more comfortable expressing yourself on camera, opt for a one-minute video. Use this opportunity to show us your passion and enthusiasm for creating a better world with your BSB degree. We’re not looking for an Oscar-worthy production; we’re looking for sincerity, transparency, and a belief in the positive power of business.

We’ve designed our application process to not just evaluate potential students, but to also contribute to a greater good. Your application fee doesn’t just go to administrative costs, it goes towards helping those in need. It’s our way of ensuring that every step in our process, from the moment you apply, has a positive impact.
In keeping with our ethos of fostering autonomy and social responsibility, we offer you the choice to make this donation directly. Rather than paying the application fee to us, you can contribute directly to one of our partner charities. All we require is a receipt of your donation. In this way, we don’t just provide an opportunity for you to get involved in community welfare, but also entrust you with the responsibility of making this donation yourself. At BSB we’re not just about nurturing business minds, but also kind hearts and responsible citizens, and this begins from the moment you decide to join us.
WUCA Switzerland
The Weinberg United Community Association strives to foster a sense of unity and social responsibility amongst students, faculty, and staff, channeling collective efforts toward local community development and welfare initiatives.
Tierschutz beider Basel
A dedicated animal welfare organization, Tierschutz beider Basel works tirelessly to protect and care for animals in need within the Basel region, promoting responsible pet ownership and animal rights.

APPLY ON PAPER OR ONLINE
Fill out the application form, send us your transcripts, give us the contact information for 2 references (or send the letters).
Students tell us that they complete the application in about 1 week.
INTERVIEW
Qualified applicants are invited for an interview. It’s one more chance to make sure you’re right for us, and that we’re right for you. On-campus and online interviews are possible.
Based on your schedule and ours, it can take up to 2 weeks to find a good meeting time.
APPLICATION REVIEW
All of your materials will be carefully evaluated by the admissions committee.
The admissions board meets once every two weeks and a decision is sent out the same day.
